HOW TO GROW .ALLAMANDA BAIL: Water deeply until the excess moisture runs out of the drainage holes but then wait until the top surface of the soil dries out before you irrigate again. Allamanda doesn’t like wet feet. Fertilize in spring through summer every two to three weeks with a good blooming plant food. Allow the plant to rest in winter. Suspend fertilizing in winter as part of good Allamanda plant care. Restart fertilizing in April and move the plant outside as soon as temperatures are above 60 F. (16 C.). Prune in early spring and cut stems back to one to two nodes to promote tighter new growth. This plant is prone to spider mites and whiteflies, so watch carefully for these pests. At the first sign put the plant in the shower and hose off as many of the little guys as you can, then follow with daily applications of horticultural soap or a Neem spray.

HOW TO GROW AN ALMOND PLANT?

Growing an almond tree requires an upfront investment of time and resources.

  1. Choose a sunny site. Almond trees need ample room to grow because they can grow up to 30 feet in height. Plant your sapling 15 to 20 feet away from buildings, power lines, and other trees. Almond trees need full sun and well-draining loam soil to thrive.
  2. Prep your sapling. Setting up your almond tree for success starts before it's even in the ground. Using a garden hose, spray off the sapling's rootball to make sure it's hydrated and that the roots make good contact with the soil.
  3. Dig your hole. Dig a hole deep enough to accommodate your plant's root system. If you've bought a bare-root or container-grown tree, dig your hole deep enough to match the depth at which your tree was planted in the nursery—most likely 18 to 24 inches. To make sure your hole is deep enough, gently place the plant inside and rest the taproot firmly against the bottom. If the base remains above the top of the hole, don't force it deeper. The taproot is sensitive and easily damaged by aggressive handling or trimming.
  4. Plant your tree. Place your sapling in the center of the hole and backfill it with well-draining soil. Firmly tamp down the soil to remove any excess air while filling. Immediately water your sapling with at least one gallon of water. Place a layer of mulch around the base of the tree to help retain soil moisture.
  5. Prune small twigs. Trim off any small twigs near the base of the tree. Young trees need pruning in order to focus all of their growth on their trunk and branches.
  6. Exercise patience. The almond tree's dormant period lasts about 5 years from seedling to fruiting, so don’t be alarmed if nuts don’t appear on your tree for the first few years.

Soil

Gulmohar tree prefers deep sandy loam soil with proper provision of drainage. Though it can be grown in almost all type of soil, Heavy and clayey soil should be avoided. Soil should have good warmth.

Climate

The tree can be grown upto 2000 meters ASL in an area with a mean annual rainfall of 700 mm and temperature of about (14-26)°C. It is the tree of tropics and sub-tropics but can withstand the heat and humid conditions. There is no problem of irrigation as it is fairly drought and salt tolerant plant.

Site Selection

The place selected for the growing of Gulmohar tree should have enough space as it spread up to 15 meters forming an umbrella like crown. The site should receive enough sunlight and grows weakly, sparsely under shade.

Other Care Works

As the plant spread and grows very fast, we can do regular pruning to give it the proper shape we want. If we allow it to grow and think of controlling it growth at later years, It will become very difficult and ultimately it covers large area. This can be a problem if you are growing Gulmohars at home. Loquat Plant

2,000.00
LOQUAT PLANT? You may be wondering exactly what is a loquat. Loquats (Eriobotrya japonica) are trees that produce small, round or pear-shaped fruits, rarely more than 2 inches (5 cm.) long. Sweet or slightly acidic in flavor, the juicy flesh may be white, yellow or orange with a yellow or orange-blushed peel. Loquats are tasty when peeled and eaten fresh, or you can freeze the whole fruit for later use. They make excellent jellies, jams, preserves, cobblers or pies. HOW TO CARE LOQUAT PLANT? Growing loquat fruit trees and their care focuses on good nutrition, water management and weed control. Fertilize the trees three times a year with a lawn fertilizer that does not contain weed killers. In the first year, use a cup (453.5 gr.) aof fertilizer divided into three applications spread over the growing season. In the second and third years, increase the annual amount of fertilizer to 2 cups (907 gr.). Scatter the fertilizer on the ground and water it in. Water a loquat tree when the blossoms begin to swell in spring and two to three more times when the fruit begins to ripen. Apply the water slowly, allowing it to sink into the soil as much as possible. Stop when the water begins to run off. Young trees don’t compete well with weeds, so maintain a weed-free area that extends 2 to 3 feet (60 to 91 cm.) from the trunk of the tree. Take care when cultivating around the tree because the roots are shallow. A layer of mulch will help keep weeds at bay.

Lucky Bamboo Plant Vase

8,000.00
HOW TO CARE LUCKY BAMBOO:
  1. Clean the growing container. Clean the container every few months and provide fresh water once a week to prevent algae from forming.
  2. Give it plenty of light. Lucky bamboo makes a great indoor plant because it can tolerate light shade and indirect sunlight. However, your bamboo will grow larger when exposed to bright light. This doesn’t mean you should put your plant in full, direct sunlight, but keeping it in a bright room can increase its longevity.
  3. Filter your water. Lucky bamboo can be grown in soil or water. If you’re growing the plant in water, filtered or distilled water is your best option for keeping your bamboo’s roots moist and healthy. (Tap water may contain chemicals that can burn its stalks). Always use clean water to refresh your plant.
  4. Choose the right container. When you buy or receive a lucky bamboo plant, it usually comes in its own container, often on top of pebbles or beads. If your bamboo outgrows its original container, you may need to transfer it into another container that can sustain it. Gently dig up the bamboo plant, washing the pebbles before transferring over to the new pot. Add the bamboo plant, carefully reburying the roots beneath the pebbles to ensure they’re completely covered. Keep the water level high enough to cover the roots, but not so high that it wets the bamboo stalks.
  5. Have proper drainage. If your lucky bamboo is growing in soil, make sure its container has good drainage. Lucky bamboo prefers moist soil, but adding too much water to the soil can negatively impact the plant’s growth. Water the soil when the top inch of the soil is dry.

Monstera Plant

HOW TO CARE MONSTERA PLANT? Give your Monstera plenty of moderate to bright light, but not direct sunlight because the leaves will burn. If your window gets lots of direct sunlight, pull the plant back a bit or diffuse the light with a sheer curtain. It prefers rooms on the average or warm side, about 65 to 85 degrees. Monstera also likes humidity so a bright bathroom is ideal.

Spider Plant

HOW TO PLANT SPIDER PLANT? Grow in a soil-based, well-draining potting mix. Spider plants like even moisture; they don’t like to be too dry or too wet. Keep plants in bright to moderate indirect sunlight. Spider plants do not appreciate direct, hot sunlight, which can burn their leaves, causing brown tips and spots. Spider plants grow fairly quickly and can easily become pot bound. Plan to repot a spider plant about every other year. Spider plants can be grown outdoors as annuals during the summer. They look especially good along the edge of a container or bed, as long as they are kept out of direct sunlight. HOW TO CARE SPIDER PLANT? During initial growth, water occasionally; once fully developed (within one year), water moderately. In the spring and summer months, keep the soil moist to encourage growth. Do not let soil dry out too much. Maintain average room temperature and humidity. Spider plants prefer temperatures between 55 and 80°F (13–27°C), which makes them a great indoor houseplant. Fertilize up to twice a month in the spring and summer, however, avoid over fertilization.
